The C.S. Café

First up in 2024 we stopped in Montgomery, Al for a special feat for Jus Jason’s show Poets Painting Pictures Through Poetry. With a sold out show, we delivered. We made them think with Mama’s Son and we got them off with Intro to a Freak.

Next we went to G.W. Carver Interpretive Museum and the open mic was fire with many of new poets gracing the mic.

Then we headed over to The Common Room for a dimmed setting poetry night. Poets were smoking the mic left and right. We received our first standing ovation. Won’t be our last.

Then we headed down to Mobile, AL for Huggy Bear’s Poetry/Comedy brunch and we set it on fire with “Taste Your High”.

Next, we had to head on over to The Carver Museum to do a little sensual therapy. We took a little break for the summer and dipped right in it to The Uptown for their Open Mic Night.

We basically live at The G.W. Carver Interpretive Museum because we keep coming back. It was a healing poetry night and we had a real head to head, gender vs gender talk about what’s our pause in relationships.
